Hooked is an impact startup developing plant-based seafood to lead the transition to a healthier seafood ecosystem. We are now looking for a Head of Sales who will lead the business development of Hooked and accelerate our sales.
As Hooked’s Head of Sales you will have a key role growing the engine of Hooked – our sales. You will work closely with our customers in foodservice and grocery to drive a more sustainable seafood consumption. You will both optimize our current customers’ sales and generate new customer leads to accelerate the Hooked expansion. Another important part of the role, in the long term, is to build and lead the sales team and spread the Hooked-culture of acting bold, taking ownership, and collaborating in the company as we grow. You will also work closely with our branding team, sales representatives and be responsible for negotiating prices.
Who you are
To be a good fit for the position, you have a minimum of 5 years experience in sales & marketing in FMCG, preferably in the food industry. You have experience from selling to grocery buyers, creating joint business plans, managing sales budgets and ROI analysis. If you have been a part of a startup journey before, that’s highly meritorious. Moreover, you are passionate about leading people and making the team around you thrive. To succeed in growing the Hooked business, a core part of your personality is to challenge the conventional way of thinking and dare to make bold decisions with short time notice. You have an entrepreneurial spirit and thrive in a fast-paced environment with a lot of uncertainties. To us, personality and a good cultural fit are as important as hard skills.
